Development in activities and financial matters
The result from ordinary activities for 2022 totals DKK -21.041.855 against DKK -6.855.209 last year. The management consider the result to be according to expectations.
The financial year has been busy with many milestones being reached and important and future defining agreements being made.
In March a strategic offtake agreement with Vitol, the world’s largest oil trader, was entered whereby the group secured a buyer for all future oil production from the first 3 production facilities. The agreement was followed by a large investment from Vitol, a successful notation on Euronext Growth Oslo (WPU) and financing from other important business partners, securing the capital needed for the completion of the production facility in Fårevejle.
The group’s organization has also been strengthened in the year among others, with a CTO, a CFO and a Production Manager for the Fårevejle facility. Meanwhile the group’s trading subsidiary received an ISCC certification, which is an important part of the company’s effort to document and maintain the environmentally friendly and CO2 saving business aim.
Additionally, and very important, the group’s first brand new waste plastic upcycling facility in Fårevejle has almost been completed and is expected to be commissioned early 2023.
After the end of the financial year, Vitol and WPU have underlined and strengthened the co-operation by providing additional capital and expanding the offtake agreement with an additional production facility, bringing the total number of production facilities being covered by the agreement up to 5. The company has also early in 2023, expanded the organization further, with a co-CEO with the responsibility of leading the planning and execution of the international expansion ambitions.
With important milestones achieved and other soon to be reached, the management has high expectations to the financial year 2023 and expect it to be the turning point for the group with a positive result consequently.
