Primary activitiesThe main activities of the company are international trade in food products, particularly meat products. NoriDane​Food A/S traded food products in 113 different countries around the world in 2024, in partnership with our more than 1,600 active business clients. NoriDane Food A/S will hereafter be referred to as NoriDane.

Development in activities and finances2024 turned out to be more challenging than expected, as the global markets was characterized by relative stability and slowly decreasing prices, which leads to increased competition and lower margins. However, some markets continue to be impacted by wars, political instability and animal diseases.
Despite challenges in the market, the company managed to grow volume and revenue as planned. Though operating profit for the year decreased due to lower margins achieved and increased reserves for customer losses.
This year NoriDane continued investments in new product groups and new geographical markets, while continuing to optimize current markets. Further NoriDane continued investing in a new digital platform for the companies internal systems, in order to stay competitive and efficient in the future.
The work on and significant investments in these new activities and systems will continue over the next years.
As a result of Russia's continued invasion of Ukraine, NoriDane has still ceased all trade with customers and suppliers in Russia and Belarus. This decision is made for ethical, moral and compliance reasons, even though sanctions against the countries do not prevent us from trading food products in said countries.
The company realized a turnover of 1.998 million DKK in the financial year, an increase of 8,2% compared to the previous year and above expectations for the year. The increased turnover is achieved by increasing sales volumes.
A pre-tax profit of 13.305 million DKK was realized, which is an decrease of 62% compared to the previous year and below expectations for the year.
The company's balance sheet as of December 31, 2024 showed equity of 134 million DKK. The company's solvency ratio was 43% compared to 45% the previous year.
The management considers the realized result as non satisfying.

Beskrivelse af virksomhedens forventede udvikling

OutlookThe management expects continued activity growth in 2025. The company's turnover is influenced by developments in global market prices, why there is no expectation for turnover in 2024. Though the management expects that the company will grow 5 – 15 % in terms of volume in 2025 and continue a positive development in current and new activities.
The management expects a EBIT result in 2025 in the range of 20-30 Mio DKK.
