Key activities
The activity of the company consist of contractor operations including domestic waste and rental of equipment and property.
Development in the year
The income statement of the Company for 2022/23 shows a profit of TDKK 24,327, and at 30 September 2023 the balance sheet of the Company shows equity of TDKK 182,449.
The past year and follow-up on development expectations from last year
At the start of the year, Management expected an increase in revenue and earnings of 5-10 %. Both revenue and earnings have developed negatively in the financial year, which can primarily be attributed to the company losing a major contract.
Operating risks
It has been assessed, that there are no single significant risks corresponding to the operations of City Container Danmark A/S.
Credit risks
It has been assessed, that there are no significant credit risks in City Container Danmark A/S.
Targets and expectations for the year ahead
For the coming financial year, a total revenue of DKK 225-235 million. and a result of DKK 28-32 million is expected. The decrease in expected revenue can primarily be attributed to the contract that the Company has lost in the current financial year.
Research and development
City Container Danmark A/S does not carry on any research or development activities in the traditional sense, but the Company aims at being at the forefront of development and uses the newest technologies.
External environment
City Container Danmark A/S is environmentally conscious and continuously works to reduce any impact on the environment caused by its operations, e.g. through more environmentally friendly waste disposal and increased waste sorting, thus, improving recycling opportunities.
We motivate and train our employees in being environmentally responsible. The construction of the Company’s lorries ensures the least possible wind resistance and, thus, also fuel consumption through aerodynamics. All lorries have cameras to spot cyclists, extra mirrors, backup cameras, etc.
The Company is working to ensure activities that promote quality, environment and the working environment at all levels in the organisation and in accordance with the requirements of DS/EN ISO 9001.

Intellectual capital resources
To some extent, City Container Danmark A/S is dependent on attracting and retaining employees who are able to continue the development of the Company’s operations.
Knowledge resources that may be of particular importance for the Company’s future operations relate to being at the front edge of a wide range of services as well as having and maintaining a good image as an effective, dependable as well as a flexible, socially and environmentally responsible company with a good working environment.

Uncertainty relating to recognition and measurement
Recognition and measurement in the Annual Report have not been subject to any uncertainty.
Unusual events
The financial position at 30 September 2023 of the Company and the results of the activities of the Company for the financial year for 2022/23 have not been affected by any unusual events.
Subsequent events
The Company experienced an incident in the Group’s internal IT infrastructure on 1 November 2023 when the Group’s IT infrastructure was hit by cyber-crime. The Company and the Group have been able to restore data from backup and are operating at full capacity again. The incident has been officially reported to relevant authorities and involved parties, and the incident has not resulted in significant losses.
Except for that, no events materially affecting the assessment of the Annual Report have occured after the Balance Sheet date.
