Development in activities and financial position Profit for the year (including comparison with forecasts previously announced) The Company's income statement for 2024 shows a profit of DKK 323,653 thousand as against a profit of DKK 312,775 thousand in 2023. Equity in the Company's balance sheet at 31 December 2024 stood at DKK 541,201 thousand as against DKK 565,975 thousand at 31 December 2023. Order intake in 2024 amounted to DKK 6,245 million, compared to DKK 8,836 million in 2023. The order backlog at the end of the year amounted to DKK 8,803 million, compared to DKK 9,291 million in 2023. The average number of employees is 1,499 compared to 1,535 in 2023. Solidity The solvency ratio is 16.1% at the end of 2024 (16.3% in 2023), corresponding to equity as of December 31, 2024, of DKK 541 million (DKK 566 million in 2023). A dividend of DKK 320 million has been proposed for the financial year. The parent company NCC AB has issued a guarantee to provide additional liquidity if necessary and to maintain the nominal share capital intact until the ordinary general meeting in 2026. Report for 2024 The market in Denmark developed well for NCC Danmark A/S in 2024. There has been attractive activity in both construction and infrastructure. The good development in orders can be attributed to close relationships with customers, who are increasingly involved in NCC Danmark A/S' competencies early in projects. Additionally, an agile approach to changes in the market and the economy has helped ensure growth in an otherwise declining market. Overall, we continue to see many good opportunities in the market and increasing demand for NCC's experience and expertise. Combined with a good order backlog, this contributes to being an attractive workplace. NCC Danmark A/S also experiences greater demand for projects with a focus on climate considerations, including processes, materials, and solutions that reduce the environmental impact of buildings. A result at the same level as 2024 is expected, and continued high activity is broadly distributed in the market. Safety First NCC Danmark A/S runs a targeted effort around company culture, including a focus on health and safety. This is done in recognition that the attitudes and behaviors of individual leaders and employees are crucial to maintaining a significant health and safety focus at all levels of the organization. When it comes to the work environment and safety, management leads the way, and all leaders in NCC Danmark A/S support a company culture where people take care of each other, systematically address risks, stop unsafe work, and together find new and better solutions. Based on the vision of zero work accidents, targeted efforts are made to create the best work environment in the industry. At the end of 2024, NCC Danmark A/S had an accident frequency of 10.7 (14.4) for accidents with more than 1 day's absence per 1 million hours worked. For accidents with more than four days' absence per 1 million hours worked, the accident frequency was 3.8 (5.2). NCC Danmark A/S has been occupational health and safety certified since 2001 and has been certified according to the latest standard for occupational health and safety management: ISO 45001 since 2018. Risk management in construction projects contributes positively to economic security and profitability while maintaining trust with customers, employees, partners, and society. Risk Management is part of management at all levels. Management deals with identifying, assessing, and managing risks to ensure and promote the organization's goals and compliance with rules and laws, as well as addressing stakeholders' needs and wishes. In essence, invoicing and purchasing are done in DKK. In the few cases where foreign currency is involved with larger amounts, an assessment of the need for currency hedging is always made. Therefore, there is limited exchange rate risk. NCC Danmark A/S has formulated an insurance policy in the area of damages, which prescribes that all significant risks must be insured to the greatest extent possible, including internal project planning.
