The company's Management and new Board of Directors are continuously evaluating Skamol's strategy, which addresses growth areas within Skamol’s target markets.

Development in activities and financial and economic position
Market development and sales In 2024 Skamol's turnover was DKK 406 million against DKK 522 million in 2023 and adjusted EBITDA amounted to DKK 50 million in 2024 compared to DKK 109 million in 2023. The turnover and EBITDA has decreased in 2024 because of an activity reduction compared to 2023. Manufacturing and product development During 2024, Skamol has completed a number of investment projects in order to increase and upgrade capacity, and reduce production costs. A significant investment was initiated in 2023 continuing in 2024 to upgrade a key facility in Denmark including increasingly use of electricity as an energy source in order to significantly reduce natural gas consumption and reduce CO2 emissions. The investment is expected to be completed during 2025. Merger The company was merged with the parent company Etex SKA A/S as of January 1, 2024. The company was 100% owned by the former parent company. The comparative figures in the annual report have been adjusted accordingly.

Overall, Skamol estimates that there continues to be growth potential for Skamol's systems worldwide. In 2025, Skamol expects to realize a turnover of DKK 406-447 million and a profit for 2025 of DKK 0-1 million due to a positive expectation in market development.
