Udviklingen i aktiviteter og økonomiske forhold
Development in activities and financial and economic position
Årets resultat efter skat udgør godt 36 mio. kr., hvilket ledelsen anser for meget tilfredsstillende. Omsætningen i 2020/21 udgør 680 mio. kr. mod 525 mio. kr. sidste år, og egenkapitalen udgør ved regnskabsårets afslutning 51 mio. kr. Selskabet har i regnskabsåret 2020/21 gennemført en kraftig kapacitetsudvidelse, hvor værftet i 2. regnskabskvartal idriftsatte den nye 180 meter lange flydedok, Dok 5. Lige siden idriftsættelsen har dokken været fuldt beskæftiget med få dages undtagelser, hvilket har bidraget betydeligt til omsætningsstigningen. Ligeledes er det nye land- og kajanlæg taget i brug efter en officiel indvielse i sommeren 2021. I forbindelse med færdiggørelse af området omkring den nye flydedok bygges der et nyt rør- og maskinværksted på 1.600 kvm, som tages i brug i starten af 2022. Således vil de nye faciliteter fremstå meget tidssvarende og understøtte de gode arbejdsforhold, hvor der udføres arbejde af høj kvalitet.
The net profit for the year constitutes approximately DKK 36m, which Management considers very satisfactory. The revenue of 2020/21 constitutes DKK 680m compared to DKK 525m last year, and the equity constitutes DKK 51m, at the end of the financial year. During the financial year 2020/21, the Company completed a massive capacity increase and the shipyard commissioned the new 180 meter long floating dock, Dok 5. Since the commission, the dock has been fully occupied with a few days' exception, which has contributed significantly to the increase in revenue. In addition, the new land and quay plant put into service after an official opening in summer 2021. In connection with the completion of the area around the new floating dock a new engineering workshop of 1,600 sqm is built and will be occupied from the beginning of 2022. Thus, the new facilities will appear up-to-date and support the good working conditions where work of high quality is carried out.
Værftets øvrige 3 dokke med tilhørende kajanlæg har i regnskabsåret ligeledes været godt udnyttet, således er der gennemført nogle omfattende vedligeholdelses- og ombygningsopgaver, bl.a. på store nordatlantiske fabrikstrawlere, danske inspektions- og forsvarsskibe samt udenlandske forskningsskibe. IMO-kravet til installation af ballastvands-rensesystemer (Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS)) har øget arbejdsomfanget i forbindelse med skibenes planlagte værftsophold, hvilket har været tydeligt i regnskabsåret 2020/21. Værftet har nu installeret mere end 40 BWT-systemer på bl.a. tankskibe, offshore skibe og færger, og forventer at dette vil fortsætte de kommende år.

The IMO requirement for installation of ballast water treatment system (Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS) has increased the workload in connection with the ships' planned shipyard breaks, which were evident during the financial year 2020/21. The shipyard has now installed more than 40 BWT systems on tank ships, offshore ships and ferries, and it is expected to continue in the coming years.
