Development in activities and financial and economic position
All the Company’s vessels were back in service for the 2022 summer season. Due to the COVID-19 period the start-up prior to the summer season was not without issues, and the Company had to accommodate its Charterers with certain Charter Hire credits and additional crew onboard the vessels to make sure that the operation could be performed according to the agreed terms. With effect from 25 January 2022 the Company changed its name to SunStone Maritime Group A/S. In February the Group’s associated company Danish Cruise Holdings ApS refinanced its loan portfolio to strengthen its financial position. In July the associated company Quest Partners Ltd. sold the vessel M/V Quest to its Bareboat Charterers. Quest Partners Ltd. will be dissolved during 2023. In September the yacht owned by the associated company Equinox Ship Ltd. was sold. Equinox Ship Ltd. was dissolved in April 2023. In October the subsidiaries TN Cruise K/S and Komplementarselskabet TN Cruise ApS were dissolved following the sale of Sea Spirit from Denmark to Madeira.
In December 2022 the Group's associated company Danish Cruise Holdings ApS sold the three management companies CMI Leisure, Unipessoal S.A., CMI Leisure Management Inc. and Cruise Management International Inc. to Anglo-Eastern International Shipmanagement Ltd.
There have been no other major changes to the Balance Sheet composition during the year except for normal operational changes.
